With a career spanning back to 1979, Maurice Aucoin has cemented his status as one of Halifax's most respected artists. As of 2022, he's marking 33 years at the helm of The Persuaders, a renowned and high-energy recording and cover band.

In recent years, he's made waves as a solo artist, proving his mettle as a songwriter and performer. His music regularly graces the airwaves of regional and national radio stations. Currently, he's actively promoting new material, available on various online streaming platforms for your listening pleasure.

In June 2021, Maurice ventured into the world of radio, hosting 'The Atlantic Indie Round A' Bout with Maurice Aucoin' on CIOE 97.5 FM.
